Waterkeeper was part of STEP Conference 2017. We were able to connect with teachers all throughout the Inland Empire. The conference for teachers aimed to inspire hundreds of K-12 teachers and area educators with motivating keynote speakers, immersive workshops, and hands-on activities. 

Teachers were excited to learn about our water education programs and take advantage of our great resources to inspire their students in the classroom. We are looking forward to providing Free field trips to these great educators. 

Waterkeeper also took part in the student portion of the conference where we were able to inspire K-12 students to become water stewards by learning about invasive animals, watershed science, plastic pollution, and volunteerism.
